STONEWORK IN CHITTENDEN COUNTY

Stone Walls in Williston, VT & Chittenden County

A well-built stone wall can add structure, character, and a distinctly Vermont feel to your property. The Yard Barbers provides stone wall construction and improvement services as part of our hands-on approach to hardscaping and outdoor property improvements.

Whether you’re considering a new stone feature or have an existing wall that needs attention, show us the property and tell us what you have in mind.

TIMELESS VERMONT CRAFTSMANSHIP

Add Structure & Character to Your Landscape

Stone walls have a natural place in the Vermont landscape. They can help define outdoor areas, complement surrounding landscaping, and introduce a lasting visual feature that feels connected to the property around it.

The Yard Barbers brings hands-on experience with traditional stonework to projects throughout Williston and Chittenden County. Rather than looking at the wall by itself, Zeb considers how it will fit alongside the home, terrain, gardens, walkways, and other landscape features.

Every property is different, so we’ll start by looking at the space and understanding what you want the finished project to accomplish.

Custom Stonework

Not every stone project fits neatly into one category. If you have an idea for incorporating stone into a larger landscape or hardscape improvement, talk with Zeb about the space and what you’d like to create.

CRAFTSMANSHIP THAT FITS THE LANDSCAPE

Start With the Property, Not Just the Wall

Stonework should feel connected to the property around it. The Yard Barbers takes a hands-on approach that starts with understanding the space, the purpose of the project, and how the finished feature should fit into the surrounding landscape.

Zeb’s experience across traditional stonework, hardscaping, landscaping, and other property improvements allows him to look beyond the individual project and consider the outdoor space as a whole.

Understand the Purpose

We’ll start by discussing what you want the stone wall to add to the property and what you’d like to accomplish with the project.

Work With the Landscape

The surrounding terrain, landscaping, home, and existing outdoor features all help shape the right approach.

Pay Attention to the Details

Stonework is hands-on craftsmanship. The details matter in creating a finished feature that feels intentional and belongs in the landscape.

ROOTED IN HANDS-ON CRAFTSMANSHIP

Traditional Stonework Is Part of Zeb’s Property-Care Experience

Zeb Knapp’s experience caring for properties began at a young age while helping maintain his grandfather’s land. Over time, that hands-on background expanded to include lawn and landscape maintenance, patio and hardscape construction, traditional stonework, carpentry, snow removal, and other property improvements.

Stonework is a natural fit for the way Zeb approaches his work: hands-on, detail-oriented, and focused on creating improvements that make sense for the property.

It’s also part of the larger philosophy behind The Yard Barbers. We’re not only interested in maintaining properties—we want to build relationships with customers and help them continue improving their properties over time.
